A reporter asked: According to reports, Moody’s analysis said that thanks to the surge in demand for electric vehicles and China’s electric vehicle production cost advantages, China is expected to become the world’s largest car exporter by the end of 2023. What’s your comment?

Spokesman Wang Wenbin said that the “driving” of China’s new energy vehicles to the world is a beautiful landscape for China’s economy to go “green”. In recent years, China has continued to promote the transformation and upgrading of economic and social development, writing a new green answer sheet for high-quality development.

In the first half of this year, China’s new installed capacity of renewable energy reached 109 million kilowatts, accounting for 77% of the total new installed capacity. The national installed capacity of renewable energy reached 1.322 billion kilowatts, surpassing coal power in history. In July this year, the output of solar cells for new energy vehicles increased by 24.9% and 65.1% year-on-year respectively, and the output of charging piles increased by 26.6% year-on-year.
